• Year 2 Medieval siege towers

  As part of their Spring 1 topic "What were castles for?" the Year 2 class used their Design and Technology and History skills to create these fantastic siege towers. They followed instructions, used new tools and worked together in teams to complete the task over a number of sessions. The towers are currently displayed in our library area and look fantastic! 

  

• Nursery open days for September 2020 admissions

  If you are looking to start your child in our nursery/pre-school from September, there are two opportunities to view the setting and meet the teacher. You will also be able to collect an application form for September at this time. Applications formally open on 01st May. 

  The dates and times available are as follows:

   

  Wednesday 22nd April 2020 - 9.30am

  Thursday 30th April 2020 - 3.30pm 

   

  The visits should last about 45 minutes.

  (Please note that as we are full operating nursery there will be no alternative dates available to visit)

• The books are here!!

  We are thrilled to have taken delivery of these incredible books, written by the fantastic Mrs Loft. 

  It will be a joy to share this mindful music story of a boys' journey through his emotions with the children at the school! Stay tuned for World Book Day, all themed around this and the subject of mental wellbeing in children, where the children will also receive a copy of the book.

  Wow! What a great effort. We collected all 200 stickers for our Aldi sports poster in record time. Here's the last one being added. 

  That's not the end though - we have a whole other poster we can fill and get another entry into the £20,000 draw ... so keep collecting

  The banners from our summer fair and arts week are now displayed wonderfully in the school hall - brightening up this great space and reminding us of our school values.

• Our first week back to school

  Wow what a week we all had last week. It was such a joy welcoming lots of new children and their families to the school and also seeing the existing children adapt so well to their new classes. We are really looking forward to the term ahead and will be sharing our plans with you soon!
