Miss Wood is a teacher who has over twelve years experience of working within primary settings. Sophie is passionate about the Early Years and about creating a nurturing classroom where the children can flourish through following their own interests and learn within a playful environment.

I am a qualified level 3 early years practitioner, with over 30 years experience of children. I am a mum of nine children, two of which have special needs which is why I am so passionate about supporting and ensuring that children receive the best start possible and that they all reach their own unique potential

Enabling young children to become confident, creative and imaginative social explorers, supporting them to develop resilience, trust, kindness and empathy through scaffolding and extending their thinking using calm, nurturing and expressive practice has been my passion for many years.

I have been working in schools for the last year and have worked closely with children with additional needs and providing small group support. I love to help children flourish and grow and am so excited to become part of the Trinity team.
