I have spent the last six years teaching in Tiverton and am now very excited to be joining Trinity Primary School. I have worked in both Key Stages, with the majority of my career being in Key Stage 2. I love watching children learn and grow in confidence. I am passionate about lifelong learning and cannot wait to see what I can learn from the children at Trinity. I have two young sons who have taught me a whole new way of looking at the world. We enjoy family days out exploring, finding lots of minibeasts and asking lots of questions.

Mrs Haggerty

Specialist Teaching Assistant

I love the great outdoors and have done so since I was a child. For the past four years I had been leading a Forest School provision supporting children to learn practical life skills in the outdoor environment. I’m passionate about how children learn about the world they live in and think it’s extremely important they understand how to live in harmony with nature and all living things. I have two beautiful boys aged 13 and 15 and as a family we enjoy the outdoors such as camping, kayaking, paddle boarding and being by the sea.

The Year 2 Team

Mr Hadden

Year 2 Teacher

I have 20 years experience as a primary class teacher in Devon. I love seeing young people grow in confidence and ask questions about world they are growing up in. Helping foster a love of learning is one of my main aims as a child’s teacher and I look forward to building on the already excellent practice I have seen at Trinity. I have three girls of my own aged 10,14 and 16 and my wife is a local artist. I love to play the drums, build things (in school and outside of it!) and being part of the charity, Park Life Heavitree. I have been known to get involved in the odd wild camp and wild swim when possible too and also am part of Exeter Network church family.

Mrs Williams

Year 2 Teacher

I have loved teaching in Year 2 for the past five years and am very excited to be joining the team at Trinity. In my spare time I enjoy being by the sea, playing board games, going for walks and playing the piano. I am also part of Exeter Vineyard Church and enjoy helping in the children’s group for 3-5 year olds.
