Head Teacher

Owen brings a wealth of experience to the school, having previously been the Head of St Leonard's School which was rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. He is bringing passion and energy to establishing the new school, and is becoming a familiar figure in and around the community.

Mrs Sarah Laws BA (Hons) PGCE
Foundation Teacher and Early Years Phase Leader


Sarah has 25 years experience of teaching in a range of different schools. She has taught in inner city, small school and international school settings. As well as being primary trained she is also a Montessori trained practitioner. She is passionate about child-centered learning and hugely excited about being part of the team establishing this wonderful new community school.

Tricia Bowld

Early Years Teaching Assistant

Tricia is a dedicated Early Years practitioner and since qualifying as a teacher in 2010, has taken up roles in the Foundation Stage and Key Stage One. She is passionate about this age group and loves the enthusiasm the children have for learning and being part of the progress the children make. Tricia recently taught in a preschool in New Zealand and has taken some time out of teaching to travel the world. Tricia is thrilled to be part of the great journey ahead!

Ellie Sanderson

Early Years Teaching Assistant

Eleanor is a qualified teaching assistant after completing a course and apprenticeship through Exeter College. She enjoys working in whole classes or with small groups of children and often works with individual children giving them extra support. Eleanor believes that every child matters and that all children should have the opportunity to achieve their full potential. She is looking forward to being part of a team dedicated to making Trinity Church of England School a special place for all children.

Carrie Searle

Early Years Teaching Assistant
Carrie describes herself as an enthusiastic, caring and determined person. As Mum to two lovely children she is thoroughly committed to giving them the best possible start in life through a balance of nurture and education, and being a full time mum for the last 6 years inspired her to pursue a career in Early Years learning. Carrie loves the outdoors and travelling and has spent time working in various volunteering roles in early years education home and abroad. She prides herself on her ability to adapt her teaching approach to suit a variety of children's needs and has learnt that compassion and patience can go a long way.




Alex Dolphin PGCE (Primary), NASENCo, PGDip Special Educational Needs

SENDCo Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator

Alex has worked as a teacher for over 17 years and has worked with children across the age phases in mainstream as well as special schools. She is dedicated and passionate about inclusion and supporting families.  She is thrilled about being part of the team at Trinity school.
