Breakfast and After School Club
Available to all children who attend Trinity CofE Primary School, Breakfast and After School Club is available Monday -Friday from 7.30am to the start of the school day and after school from 3.15 - 6pm
The club operates five days a week, Monday – Friday,(term-time only).
The Club takes place in the practical room which is accessed only through the main entrance at the front of the building.
Our breakfast clubs provide your child with a fun and healthy start to their school day.
Our breakfast clubs are open every school morning with some of our breakfast clubs opening from 7:30am.
We understand that some children will still have their sleepy heads on, so our breakfast clubs are designed to wake them up gently! With a great choice of quiet activities on offer your children can choose from games and activities such a lego, marble runs, books, drawing, coloring and books and puzzles, as well as the option of playing football or taking advantage of the outside space.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we offer all children attending the early birds breakfast club a choice of a healthy breakfast such as cereal, crumpets, toast, fruit and yogurts. On some occasions we have options to try something different such as bacon sandwiches, croissants or pancakes.
Most of our breakfast clubs are split into two sessions; the early birds (which includes breakfast), and the sleepy heads (without breakfast)!!
We understand that children have been working hard at school and after a long day might want to simply relax. Our after school clubs have been described as “going to play at someone house, but with loads of people and games to play”. It is no wonder that when parents turn up to collect their children sometimes they just don’t want to go.
All our after school clubs run straight after school until 6pm each school day, once children arrive at the club room they are able to play with the wide range of free play activities, for the first and last 30 minutes of the club children are able to watch some television or play on the wii. Each club offers children a snack and this is usually served between 4 .00 – 4:30 we offer children a varied menu from toast to jacket potatoes and the children regularly help us make homemade soup and potato wedges. Children will also get the opportunity to cook sausages or dough balls on an open fire when we are running a forestry session in the after school club. Each night we offer an organized activitiy run by one of the FISH play workers, this can be anything from den building, arts & craft activity, rounders, hockey, bouncy castle games or an organised grand prix knock out race on the scalectic.
